Following the initial two cards, further cards are drawn if needed. Should the original two cards total 8 or 9, the hand is referred to as a natural and it wins immediately, except if each hand has equal valued “naturals”, in which case it’s a tie. If neither hand has a “natural” additional cards are dealt to decide a winner.

Based on the lack on player input (asides from the original bet), the only real tactic that could help the player would be to count cards to recognize prospective tie opportunities or hand advantages.
